I often speak of how valuable true friendships are in life and I want to take a moment to mention the friendship I have developed with TK and pay tribute to him.  I met TK roaming around a gunshow in Kansas City some time ago.  In that brief encounter we found we had a common interest in coyote hunting and he invited me to visit and become a member of Midwest Hunting Source. (He is a true ambassador for this online site).  As time passed we arranged a few hunts together, exchanged ideas and he later called me and asked if I would like to be a co-moderator in the predator hunting forum.
In my lifetime I've learned that true friendships are not only valuable but a gift, as well.  Such is the case with myself and TK.  The things I enjoy most about TK other than our hunts together are his undying enthusiasm, up-beat attitude, sense of humor, and loyalty.  He is not critical if I make an occasional mistake, he doesn't get down and lose his enthusiasm if things don't go as well as planned, he isn't selfish or jealous if I score a shot on a coyote and he misses an opportunity on a hunt.  He is genuinely happy if either one of us scores on any specific day and he just enjoys being out there sharing the experience and enjoying God's gifts of the great outdoors.  His attitude is that any day out there hunting together is a good day regardless of the outcome.  He has the same appreciation of the sight of all things in nature as I do.  I believe our friendship has developed into far more than just occasional hunting partners.  I have the greatest admiration for Tom....he's like a brother to me and I feel that a higher power led me to him that day at the gunshow.  It will be a sad day for me when I am no longer able to go hunting with him but I'm sure that our friendship will endure.  Thank you my friend for all you are and all you give to me.

Your welcome Scot-

It has been very good for me to find someone to hunt with that is a true student of the predator game. I have learned a lot from you, and I admire your dedication and enthuasium to calling dogs. You are into it more than I am, and that is saying something!! LOL

Your right, I am just happy to be in the outdoors having fun. I enjoy nature, and the fraternial spirit of the hunt...its all about memories and relationships, not body counts. You have been very patient with my schedule and busy life; I know you understand how all of that goes.

We still have a lot of hunts ahead of us, but if the day comes you cant go i will have to wheel you out in a camoflage wheel chair and tell you to sit still and watch me work the dogs in  wink

No doubt about it.  The limited amount of time I have been able to spend with Scot was very pleasant.  He's welcome back here anytime.
