Plan on starting the trapline tomorrow with footholds for predators and then restraints on Tuesday.  Got a call tonight about some problem otters and will set them up tomorrow too.  Sometime during all of this I need to set up some traps for some problem badgers.  So the first catches will not be possible until Tuesday at the earliest if I happen to hook anything the first night.
Thought it might be fun if anyone wanted to guess what the first predator I catch would be.  Or if wanted when will I catch my first yote, first cat and etc.
I think I know what my first will be and it might surprise ya'll.

Good luck and will post Tuesday catch or not.

Only had 2 predators this morning and I was wrong with my guess.  They were 2 different species also.  Going to spend all day tomorrow expanding the line hopefully.  Only have out about 20 sets right now.  Would like to get 100 plus.

Happy Holidays to all

both of you were winners by the way.  yote and coon was all.  Today was no better as I did a rookie mistake and left a safety on the otter conibear and you guessed it.  An educated otter.  No yotes today, but did catch what I thought I would have had yesterday.
