I sent in a picture of Spud after completing his Master Hunter title.   This picture was chosen for the Spaniel of the Month picture on the front page of the website.  Pretty cool !

The picture was taken in Pawnee County Kansas.  Found this old homestead that would make for some nice pictures.  I thought this one turned out nicely.

That's a great picture of a beautiful dog.

I have hunted Pawnee County, its pretty desolate. In fact, we got lost there once, we went 26 miles the wrong way...no landmarks, ect

Tomkat,

You definitely don't want to pass up an opportunity to top off the fuel tank.  We were looking at WIHA land out there when I noticed we were getting low.  A quick calculation told me to head straight to the closest gas station and don't make a wrong turn.  Coasted in on fumes.  Running out of gas would really dampen a hunt. ha

When my gague hits 1/2 I fill up at the next station no matter what the price ..... thankfully I am getting my dear bride educated but she still will just put $10 or $20 in and not fill "er up like I suggest ..... if you run the tank too low you deprive the fuel pump of the lubrication needed and you don't have to run it dry too many times before you get to replace the pump and that's expensive unless you can do it yourself ...
and then it's not as expensive but still a bunch ......

Great picture, SD!  I am planning on updating the MHS main page tomorrow and if you will post that picture in this thread, I will see to it that it gets a spot on our main page. wink
