well i'm thinking for one its texas...its always hot and two they gonna be hungry no matter what so i'm gonna start at sun up and then i'll be out there for probably 6 to 8 hrs and hope to get me one.  BTW i saw a fawn and its mamma out eating at 2 pm on a 75 degree day last weekend.  Was pretty suprised.  but goes to show if they are hungry they are gonna get up and eat

I got game cam pics of several mature bucks out eating in our field at 3:35 in the afternoon on a 95 degree day. I don't think the sun or the heat bother them too much.

I was at Wal Mart a few days ago and happened to stroll past a guy looking at his game cam pics on one of the photo machines, I guess getting ready to print some of them out.  I stopped to take a look and he had numerous pics of several big ole' hogs.  I asked him where they were taken and his response was, "on my property down near Lake Wappapello".  Guess there are still some around that area.
