Education: Yes, by the end of thier season they have graduated with PHDs. Yesturday was proof of that. We shot a pair and then at sunset we decided to just lay there for a few to watch the absolute mass that was in the air at the moment. A solid 5 minutes after sunset 12 landed in the decoys.

Don't you just love it !!!!!!!!!  Birds in the decoys is a great Kodak Moment....did you do it huh??

I'm about to order a new cell phone and I'm getting a camera phone for the very reason that I'm constantly wishing I had my camera to take a shot that appears.  It won't be of the same quality as my Kodak 720 but at least I'll have the pic.  It's rare when I don't have my phone with me.

Actually the contract is up on my phone and I'm going tomorrow to get a new one myself. I assume it will be a camera phone. Hopefully it's better than the one I have now cause I don't even bother taking many pics with this one.

Most phones are only 1 or 2 MP but TK's cousin Mike used to post some pretty good pics from his camera phone.  I think it was a Samsung but I don't know what model.  I've been considering a Samsung 837 Rugby however it is no longer listed on the ATT site.  I've been with Verison since they were Ameritech and that's a long time.  I started out with Southwestern Bell Mobil Systems back in the 5 watt bag phone days and I'm switching to ATT to bundle with my land line and DSL for a cheaper price.  I'm aslo switching because when I'm at Shoffner's farm Verison has either no signal at all or weak analog signal which drains the battery.

You do know you don't have to have a land line if you don't want one........ATT doesn't require it!  We got rid of ours.  It's only use is for DSL and 911 calls, there is no "phone" service on the line!  Much cheaper and we have a faster speed on our DSL now!  Just something to think about...........NOW..........

elmer fudd  We can stop highjacking Drylok's thread and get back to DUCKS, GEESE, and Birds that he likes to shoot in the winter months! ! !   elmer fudd nice thread wave

Stuffed Duck Wrapped In Bacon
This is how I do it. INGREDIENTS:

15 jalapenos (when cut in half, makes 30)
2 pkgs cream cheese
2 packages of bacon (I normally use the thick Wright bacon but used cheap $2 bacon this time)
toothpicks
Cut jalapenos in half and clean out.  If you like them hotter, then leave some seeds.  Shove as much cream cheese as you can on that half and wrap with a slice of bacon.  I try to cover the open end and the top really good there is less cream cheese leakage;)  Stick a toothpick in from the top to bottom to hold bacon in place and prevent rolling up for falling off.
Use a low-medium heat on grill for about 8 minutes and rotate them every 2 minutes. The idea is to get the meat cooked but not burn the bacon.

Does the recipe actually call for any duck?

Oh whoops I left that part out. Yes what you do is cut the duck meat into 3/4" cubes and butterfly each cube. After you get your jalepenos prepared you insert that inside the cube and marinade it all together for 24-48 hours. Then take them out and wrap them in bacon. Hold together with toothpicks
