GWP Rescue, Inc.
GWP Rescue, Inc. is a Non-Profit organization that formed due to the rising number of German Wirehaired Pointers and mixes being euthanized in shelters in the Midwest and in several other states. We obtained a Home Shelter License from the State of Kansas and began helping needy German Wirehaired Pointers. We are an independent working organization that is NOT affiliated with any Breed Club.
We work with shelters and other legitimate rescue agencies to preserve, protect, and rehabilitate GWP's that deserve a chance of a better life. We are not of unlimited resources, but do not wish to put a price on a needy dog's life. We will go the distance to help all GWP's we can realistically care for. Our members work very hard to rescue and train the dogs that come into our foster homes. It is "All about the Dogs" with GWP Rescue, Inc. We are now on Pets911, 1-800-Save-A-Pet, PetHarbor, along with Petfinder and corporate sponsor sites! Our dogs are going quickly, so if you see someone you are interested in that resides in our Network, email or contact us. Please specify which dog you are interested in when emailing!
